More information on Covid-19 case linked to Chinese expert

On the afternoon of May 2, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC) said that regarding the Chinese expert who was recently confirmed to be infected withCovid-19Upon returning to the country, there was a case of a female employee of Sunny bar (this person lives in Hoang Mai district) tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The other driver who transported the group of experts (living in Me Tri, Nam Tu Liem) is waiting for test results.

The Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC) also said that the information that 02 positive cases with addresses in Hanoi related to Chinese passengers is incorrect. Currently, only 1 positive case of SARS-CoV-2 has been identified.

The female employee of Sunny bar (located in Hoang Mai district) who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 is related to the Chinese expert who was recently confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 upon returning to the country.

Isolation area for Covid-19 patients.

Previously, on May 2, the Vinh Phuc Department of Health announced that it had recorded 5 people testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 due to their connection to a Chinese expert who had just tested positive for the virus that causes Covid-19 upon returning to the country.

This Chinese expert in a group of 5 people completed quarantine in Yen Bai and then traveled through many provinces such as Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Lai Chau, and Lang Son.

Thus, CDC Hanoi and CDC Vinh Phuc have recorded 6 positive cases, 1 case is the driver transporting the group of experts (residing in Me Tri, Nam Tu Liem) and is awaiting test results.

The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Vinh Phuc province has also issued a notice to find related people.

The travel schedule of the group of 5 Chinese experts is as follows:

- April 23: Cat Thinh commune intersection, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province.

- April 24: Bao Yen Hotel, Group 4, Tan An Ward, Nghia Lo Town, Yen Bai Province (from 00:05 to 4:45) and Tan Uyen District, Lai Chau Province (18:00).

- April 25: Nghia Lo town, Yen Bai province.

- From April 26 to 28: Vinatop Ceramic Tile Company, 300/10B Luong Cau village, Son Loi commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province and noon on April 26 at Ngon Seafood restaurant, Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province.
