"The provincial police have sent a report to the Provincial People's Committee and Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee on the verification results," the source said.

The source also confirmed that after the provincial police worked, Gia Lai newspaper said that the information provided by the citizen was baseless and inaccurate, so it removed the news previously posted in the newspaper.

Provincial police are also clarifying the act of spreading false rumors.

Earlier, on the same morning, Gia Lai Online newspaper published content that a local citizen came to the editorial office to provide information and a clip about the whereabouts and location of the MH370 crash.

According to the posted information, while working for hire in Dak Nong province, this citizen recorded images and the location of the MH370 plane crash on Google Earth, then posted it on Youtube and took it down for some reasons.

Recently, this citizen saw a British person posting information that they had discovered flight MH370 in the Cambodian jungle. Through the image, this person noticed that their clip was similar to the clip he posted before, but there were signs of editing.

Gia Lai Online Newspaper quoted the informant as saying that the plane was intact, not broken, its nose was stuck in the lake; it fell into the water at a depth of about 30m, submerged in mud 5-6m, not in the jungle and not in Cambodian territory.

The crash site of MH370 that this citizen identified was near the flight route from Malaysia to Beijing.

On Gia Lai Online newspaper, the informant also said that it would only take 2-3 days to find the exact location of MH370. If the Malaysian government agrees, this person will ask the authorities for permission to hire divers to search and pay for the costs.
