Information on the health status of pilot Nguyen Huu Cuong

Pilot Nguyen Huu Cuong was only injured in the arm and the wound has begun to heal, his health is recovering well.

According to information from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, this morning (June 24), Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, visited the health of pilot, Major Nguyen Huu Cuong, Deputy Squadron Leader of Squadron 1, Regiment 923 - one of the two pilots on the Su-30MK2 aircraft that crashed on the morning of June 14 and is being treated at the 108 Central Military Hospital.

Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung visited pilot Nguyen Huu Cuong's health.

Reporting to Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, Professor, Doctor Mai Hong Bang - Director of the Hospital said that Mr. Cuong was only injured on his arm and the injured area has started to heal. Fortunately, parts such as the liver, organs, and kidneys were not injured, and his health is recovering well.

Inquiring about the health of pilot Nguyen Huu Cuong, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung expressed his respect for the combat readiness of the air defense and air force in general and pilot Nguyen Huu Cuong in particular, as well as for the sacrifices and losses of the fighters recently.

On this occasion, the Minister encouraged and presented gifts to pilot Cuong, wishing him a speedy recovery, and thanked the doctors and people who have always been by his and his family's side. The Minister also thanked the doctors at Hospital 108 for treating and taking care of Cuong during the past time with all their love and responsibility.

Pilot Nguyen Huu Cuong expressed his gratitude for Minister Dao Ngoc Dung's visit. He also hopes to recover quickly and be able to fly again.
Sharing with the Minister about the difficulties in life, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Mr. Cuong's wife, said that she is currently working in shifts at the 99 Guest House of the Capital Military Region Command, often working the night shift. Therefore, she wishes to do administrative work to have time to take care of her children.
