Heart-stopping rescue as man climbs fifth floor attempting suicide.

A man in an intoxicated state was sitting outside the fifth-floor window of a house. Suspecting he intended to commit suicide, residents called the authorities.

On the morning of July 5th, residents in An Hoa neighborhood (Mo Lao, Ha Dong) were startled to discover a man sitting precariously on the 5th floor of a house. Suspecting the man intended to commit suicide, the residents reported the incident to the authorities.

Authorities subdued the man.

Upon receiving the report, the local police and fire department immediately arrived at the scene and began rescue operations. Initial information indicates that the victim was an ethnic minority man who, after visiting a friend's house, decided to commit suicide.

Despite encouragement and persuasion from the public and authorities, he showed no signs of changing his mind about committing suicide.

Realizing the man might attempt suicide, authorities immediately deployed an inflatable cushion below as a precaution. Another team approached the victim from around and above, ready to subdue him if the opportunity arose.

Recognizing the opportunity, rescuers quickly subdued the man and brought him onto the corrugated iron roof of the adjacent house. However, due to panic, he struggled and jumped down. Fortunately, there was an air cushion, so he only suffered minor injuries and was taken to Ha Dong Hospital for emergency treatment.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
