Earn 10 million VND per day thanks to straw collecting machine.

Seeing farmers often wasting straw in the fields, Mr. Mạnh came up with the idea of ​​making a multi-purpose straw collecting machine and earns tens of millions of dong every day from this work.

The fields in Dien Khanh district (Khanh Hoa province) are becoming increasingly bustling. Straw gatherers, transporters, sellers, and buyers are all busy. The straw here is rolled into neat, round bales for easy transport to distant provinces. Because each bale of straw is quite inexpensive (20,000 VND), it is very popular.

Mr. Tran Duc Manh (Suoi Hiep commune, Dien Khanh district), who was busy transporting straw, excitedly said that straw is currently in high demand. For more than 10 days, customers have been placing orders continuously, but he hasn't been able to supply enough. On average, Mr. Manh collects 500-550 bales of straw each day, selling them at 20,000 VND per bale, earning over 10 million VND and making a profit of more than half.

Because the profit from straw is high but the supply is insufficient to meet customer demand, Mr. Manh has hired two additional workers to collect more straw. He said that three days ago, a customer called to place an order for 1,000 bales of straw per day, but he refused because his workforce and collection machines couldn't keep up with the order.

According to Mr. Manh, due to the severe and prolonged drought this year, leading to a shortage of animal feed, the demand for straw has been high. The product is mainly supplied to Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces. On average, he collects straw from 2-3 hectares each day. He uses a machine to tightly bale the straw, making it round, even, and compact, thus facilitating easy sorting and transportation.

Mr. Tran Duc Manh shared that in the past, farmers often wasted straw in the fields, and feeling sorry for the waste, he came up with the idea of ​​creating a multi-functional straw gathering machine. The machine has a compact and lightweight structure, can be transported across all terrains, and can both gather and lift straw onto trucks. After successfully building it, the machine was put into operation during the 2015-2016 winter-spring season, helping him gather straw and earn millions of dong every day.
