Nearly 140kg of frozen chicken of unknown origin seized

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of September 7, at hamlet 13, Thanh Tien commune, the working group of Thanh Chuong district police discovered and seized a shipment of 10 carton boxes of whole frozen chickens weighing 137 kg.

The shipment of frozen chicken smelled bad and was being transported home by the owner, Ms. Pham Thi Thinh in Hamlet 9, Thanh My Commune.

Frozen chickens smelled bad, packed tightly in cardboard boxes.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Thinh's statement, these chickens will be imported to restaurants and eateries in the area.

The case is currently being investigated and handled by the District Police according to the law.
