Seized more than 1,000 boxes of functional foods of unknown origin

At around 3:00 p.m. on September 27, the Traffic Police Team of Nam Dan District Police, while patrolling and controlling the section passing through Nam Tan Commune, discovered a car with license plate 29D-11058 with suspicious signs.
Stopping the vehicle for inspection, the task force discovered that the vehicle contained various types of functional foods, syrups, pharmaceuticals... The quantity was up to more than 1,000 boxes of medicine manufactured by many companies.
At the police station, driver Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1991, residing in Hamlet 7, Thanh Huong Commune, Thanh Chuong District) could not present invoices or documents proving the origin and admitted to picking up the goods from Hanoi and transporting them to Nghe An to sell to pharmacies in Nam Dan and Thanh Chuong districts.

Currently, Nam Dan District Police have temporarily detained the vehicle and all goods to investigate and clarify according to the provisions of law./.
