The Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, recently discovered and seized 2 tons of contaminated food being transported in a truck for sale.
On December 2nd, after completing the necessary procedures, the authorities proceeded to destroy all of the contaminated food in accordance with the law.
Earlier, at 3:30 AM on November 28, 2024, on National Highway 1A in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, Task Force No. 2 of the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station stopped a truck with license plate 50H-015.66, driven by Vo Van Lam (born in 1981), residing in An Phu commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.
Upon inspection, authorities discovered 40 sacks containing contaminated food of unknown origin and source, totaling 2 tons.
