The lockdown of two apartment buildings in Vinh City has been narrowed.

Specifically, at building CT1 of Kim Thi apartment complex, only the entire 6th floor – where patient N.D.H lives – will be sealed off, along with a total of 16 households.

At Phu My Trung apartment building, the authorities only sealed off the 5th floor, which is where patient HVH lives, along with a total of 8 households.

It is known thatnarrow the scope of the lockdown.This depends on the actual situation, as neither building has reported any new infections in recent days, all test samples from approximately 1,000 residents have come back negative, and all F1 contacts have been taken to centralized quarantine. Furthermore, a prolonged lockdown of the two apartment buildings would also negatively impact the lives of the residents.

Previously, on June 29th, Quan Bau ward sealed off building CT 1, Kim Thi apartment complex and Phu My Trung apartment complex after two Covid-19 cases were detected among residents of these two buildings.
