Five Kencare Vietnam skincare products have been recalled and destroyed.
The Ministry of Health has ordered the recall and destruction of five cosmetic products marketed by Kencare Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Hanoi).
On July 17, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) issued a notice suspending the circulation and recalling nationwide five types of cosmetic products marketed by Kencare Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Hanoi).
The reason is that this company sells cosmetics and has product information files (PIFs), but these files are incomplete according to legal regulations.
These five products belong to two brands: P'Cell (including Bio-Stem Collagen Plus and Bio-Stem Filler essences) and Juviskincare (JuviGrows, JuviFill, and JuviPro2). They are all advertised as cosmetic and aesthetic treatment lines using stem cell technology, helping to rejuvenate, regenerate, and care for the skin. According to the brand websites, these items are quite expensive, ranging from 1 to 6 million VND.
Kencare Vietnam Co., Ltd. must send recall notices to all distributors and users of the five aforementioned products; receive returned products from businesses; and proceed with the recall and destruction of all products that do not meet the regulations.
The regulatory agency requests that the Departments of Health in provinces and cities notify businesses and users of cosmetics in their areas to immediately cease trading and using these five products and return them to the suppliers; and to handle violations according to current regulations.
The Hanoi Department of Health has been requested to supervise Kencare Vietnam Co., Ltd. in the recall and destruction of the five products mentioned above.
