The Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution (Ministry of Information and Communications) has just issued a decision to recall and destroy a book about Chinese history that contains inaccurate information about Vietnam's sovereignty over its maritime territories and islands.

The book, titled "The Rise and Fall of Chinese Feudal Dynasties," is edited by Ge Jianxiong and published by the Culture and Information Publishing House. It received its printing license in 2004 and was submitted for copyright registration in 2005. As of a few days ago, the book was still being offered for sale online.

The book has been found by readers and the press to contain inaccurate information regarding China's sovereignty over its maritime territories, thus violating Vietnam's sovereignty over its islands, which we deem inappropriate and should not mention here. Furthermore, the appendix map section includes erroneous annotations, seriously violating Vietnam's inviolable sovereignty over its maritime territories.

When readers and the press discovered the aforementioned inaccurate information violating Vietnam's maritime sovereignty, on December 26, the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution (Ministry of Information and Communications) issued a decision to recall and destroy the book.
