(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Vinh City Tax Department held a conference to review 1 year of implementing the program of coordinating propaganda and mobilizing people to comply with tax laws and combat tax losses in the area.

After 1 year of implementing the coordination program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Vinh City Tax Department have developed a coordination program, organized a signing ceremony and deployed it to member organizations and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of wards and communes; Coordinated to guide and direct mass organizations at ward and commune levels to mobilize members and people to comply with tax laws and prevent tax losses; at the same time, regularly exchanged information between the two sides to promptly direct the dissemination of tax laws in the area.

Ms. Pham Thi Hanh, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Huy Tap Ward, said: After being specifically informed, many business households in the ward voluntarily came to declare and pay taxes.

The Fatherland Front Committees of wards and communes have coordinated with the tax team to propagate and mobilize local business households to voluntarily declare and post their tax returns publicly. They have focused on urging and encouraging business households to declare and pay business license tax, VAT, non-agricultural land tax, personal income tax, and environmental fees to meet the planned targets.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of wards and communes coordinated with the inter-ward and commune tax teams to review the list of business households with outstanding tax debts, coordinated to visit households to mobilize tax payment, and initially collected over 3 billion VND in outstanding debts.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Vinh City Tax Department determined that it is necessary to continue exchanging information to promptly direct as well as serve as a basis for developing an action plan.

Develop plans for each ward and commune, organize the signing of implementation commitments to departments and the Front Working Committee of hamlets; organize regular dialogues to promptly resolve difficulties and problems of taxpayers; focus on solutions to collect tax debts, urge the collection of outstanding debts from previous years. At the same time, recommend competent authorities to create mechanisms and policies for enterprises and business households to have capital to develop production and business, creating sustainable revenue for the budget.
