Nghe An's success in attracting FDI is not due to luck, but rather the result of a carefully prepared strategy, known as the "5 Ready" – the foundation for the province to emerge as a locality with an attractive investment environment.
Mr. Le Tien Tri, Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, said: "Those 5 readinesses..."firstThis is a ready investment opportunity. The Southeast Economic Zone – a driving force for industrial development – has been expanded to over 80,000 hectares, of which approximately 15,000 hectares are specifically designated for industrial zones. This is a large amount of clean land, ready to serve large-scale FDI projects, especially those by high-tech corporations.

Monday,Nghe An has a ready and synchronized infrastructure – a key factor in attracting FDI. Nghe An has been investing heavily in Cua Lo seaport, upgrading Vinh International Airport, expanding its road and rail transport systems, creating a convenient logistics network to meet the needs of domestic and international transportation and trade.
Tuesday,Prepare a plentiful and high-quality workforce, coordinating with vocational schools, colleges, districts, cities, and towns to introduce and supply labor to factories and businesses.
With a strongly reformed investment environment, the province has implemented many new models such as "one-stop shop" and "single point of contact," reducing the time for processing investment procedures, while also applying digital transformation to increase transparency in the process. Several projects have been granted investment certificates. In addition, Nghe An is ready to provide legal support and accompany investors throughout the project implementation period.

Selecting investors is a priority. Many high-tech corporations such as Foxconn, Luxshare, Goertek, Everwin, Juteng... have invested in Nghe An with a total capital of over US$1.3 billion, creating more than 86,000 stable, high-quality jobs. The province proactively adjusts the planning of industrial zones, ensuring synchronization between land, transportation, environment, and social amenities. As a result, projects are not only implemented quickly but also sustainably in the long term. The locality has established a mechanism for regular dialogue, quickly resolving difficulties and ensuring a stable and friendly investment environment. This collaboration builds great trust from domestic and foreign investors.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh stated: “The recent FDI attraction results are the achievement of the entire political system focusing its efforts on the investment attraction strategy, representing a new breakthrough and a new milestone in the socio-economic development and economic restructuring of Nghe An on the national and regional map. Nghe An's ranking in the top 10 for FDI attraction for three consecutive years demonstrates the effectiveness of administrative reform, enhanced competitiveness, and its attractiveness as a destination for investors. This is the result of many terms, especially this term, along with Nghe An's commitment to accompanying and supporting investors.”

Nghe An province has developed a plan for FDI development for the period 2025-2030, with ambitious but clear objectives. Accordingly, during the 2025-2030 period, Nghe An aims to establish 8-10 new industrial parks, with a total area of approximately 2,800-3,000 hectares; attract 5-6 billion USD in FDI capital, focusing on high-tech, clean production, and high value-added industries. Total investment in infrastructure construction for economic zones and industrial parks is projected to reach approximately 15,000-20,000 billion VND. By 2030, the goal is for businesses in the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks to contribute approximately 25-30% of the province's total budget revenue. It is also projected to create jobs for approximately 120,000-150,000 workers by 2030.

Nghe An will develop eco-industrial zones, ensuring 100% wastewater treatment meets standards; transforming the province into a high-tech industrial center, combining digital transformation, innovation, and green development.
These grand visions are inspiring investors and providing them with added strength in the current context.
In addition, Nghe An strives to complete 19,500 social housing units and worker accommodation in industrial zones according to the target of the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial zone workers in the period 2021-2030".
