Outperforming over 3,000 other candidates, two applicants from the former Quynh Luu and Tan Ky districts achieved an outstanding score of 96.5/100, becoming the top scorers in the Nghe An province's recruitment of education sector civil servants.

Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television, a representative from the Personnel and Organization Department of the Department of Education and Training stated: Out of 3,260 candidates, 3 violated exam regulations. Of these, 2 received a warning, and 1 had their exam results canceled. The candidate whose results were canceled and who committed the same violation received a score of 0, making them the lowest-scoring candidate in this year's exam.
The civil servant recruitment exam has a 100-point scale, including general knowledge of specialized laws and professional ethics related to the job position being applied for (30 points) and professional knowledge and skills required for the job position being applied for (70 points).
According to initial results, two candidates achieved the highest scores of 96.5 points in the exam. These are Tran Thi Hien, born in 1994, from the former Quynh Luu district. She graduated with honors, holds a B1 English certificate, an Information Technology certificate, and applied for two positions: a primary school teacher and a secondary school science teacher (Biology). She holds a university degree with honors for both positions. Applying for both positions is possible because the exam times for these two positions are different.
The remaining candidate is Ngo Thi Hang (born in 1989) from the former Tan Ky district. She graduated with a "Good" grade in Biology Education, possesses an A2 English certificate, an Information Technology certificate, and is applying for the position of Natural Science teacher (Biology) at the secondary school level.
Although the score distribution has not yet been analyzed, based on initial data, the number of candidates eligible for admission (scoring above 50 points) is approximately 60%. With this percentage, it is estimated that some positions (especially in high-altitude mountainous areas) may not have enough qualified candidates. In that case, the recruitment council may consider lowering the admission score or allowing candidates from other regions to change their preferences.
After the results are announced, candidates wishing to appeal their exam results must submit their applications within 5 days, from January 31, 2026 to 5 PM on February 4, 2026. After the appeal process is completed, the Recruitment Council will announce the successful candidates.

This is the first time the Nghe An Department of Education has organized a recruitment examination for education staff at the preschool, primary, and secondary levels. This is a crucial step in selecting individuals with sufficient qualities, professional qualifications, and professional competence, who are well-versed in the Party and State's policies, guidelines, and laws, and who meet the requirements of the job positions. At the same time, it aims to supplement the human resources for the teaching and staffing of the Nghe An province's education sector.
For the exam organization process, Nghe An province invited external units, specifically universities in Hanoi, to conduct the exams. The grading process also involved independent external examiners. During the exam, all examination rooms were equipped with 24/7 surveillance cameras connected directly to the control center. At the control center, there were always at least three officials from the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Police, and other relevant departments on duty to monitor and supervise.
Prior to this exam, after the interview round, 27 other candidates were also selected under the talent attraction program. Among them, the candidate with the highest exam score achieved 95/100 points.
