Bui Tien Dung is a Muong, born into a farming family in Thanh Hoa. He has been passionate about football since childhood and trained at a local training center. In 2013, Tien Dung joined Thanh Hoa club. In 2016, Bui Tien Dung was first called up to the national youth team and became the main goalkeeper of the Vietnam U19 team at the U19 Asian finals. Earlier this year, Tien Dung and the Vietnam U23 team participated in the U23 Asian Championship. With his excellent performance, contributing to the team's runner-up position, he was awarded the third-class labor medal.
