Ninh Binh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her honor, joy, and excitement in welcoming Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife to Ninh Binh – the land where, more than 1050 years ago, the Dai Co Viet State – the first centralized feudal state of Vietnam – was established.
Presenting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with the Thai Binh Hung Bao coin – a symbol representing Ninh Binh's historical and cultural traditions – the Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee expressed hope that the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Armenia would become even closer, stronger, and reach new heights.
Ninh Binh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thi Thanh also provided the delegation with an overview of the province's geographical location, natural conditions, and socio-economic development, especially its tourism development orientations, with the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site - as a key highlight.
Dubbed the "Ha Long Bay on land," Trang An boasts a unique and breathtaking natural landscape, containing rich cultural and historical values, biodiversity, and, most importantly, outstanding global value in terms of culture, aesthetics, geology, and geomorphology.
Leveraging its natural and cultural potential, Ninh Binh province has implemented numerous projects to research, excavate, preserve, and promote heritage values in conjunction with sustainable tourism development.
In addition to promoting and showcasing Ninh Binh's image on domestic and international media channels, Ninh Binh province has taken advantage of the fact that the Trang An Eco-tourism Area was chosen as an international film location to recreate it as a tourist destination, thereby attracting an increasing number of visitors.
The Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee stated that Ninh Binh's future orientation and vision is to become a major center and destination for the northern provinces, focusing on cultural, historical, and natural tourism of national and international significance; a center for organizing international conferences and seminars, and a world-class film location.
During the exchange and sightseeing tour of the Trang An Eco-tourism Area, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome extended by Ninh Binh province to the delegation, and congratulated Ninh Binh province on its achievements in the reform process, especially in tourism development.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his admiration and deep impression of the beauty and friendliness of the land and people of Ninh Binh. Ninh Binh is truly an attractive tourist destination, and the Trang An World Natural and Cultural Heritage site deserves to be one of the most beautiful and captivating landscapes in the world.
During this visit, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also hopes to strengthen comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam in various fields, including Ninh Binh province in the field of tourism.
