Prime Minister: The football team showed unwavering determination.
On the afternoon of January 15th, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter to the national men's football team, encouraging the coaching staff, coach Park Hang-seo, and the players to unite and be determined to win the final group stage match of the 2019 Asian Cup.

In the letter, the Prime Minister wrote: "On behalf of the Government, I wholeheartedly commend all the officials, coaches, and players of the National Men's Football Team for their great efforts and high determination in the two recent matches at the 2019 Asian Football Championship currently taking place in the United Arab Emirates."
Facing the strongest opponents in the continent, the team demonstrated unwavering determination, upholding the qualities, courage, and noble spirit of the Vietnamese people.
With the love and belief in victory that the whole country has for our beloved team, I hope that under the guidance of Head Coach Park Hang-seo, the entire team will prepare well, unite as one, continue to maintain the desire to win, play with all their might, and be determined to win the final match of the group stage, achieving the goals set before the tournament.
