The Government Office has just issued a document conveying Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's direction on solutions to overcome and reduce traffic congestion in urban areas.

At the same time, the Prime Minister requested the development of satellite urban areas to coordinate and redistribute population and labor, and apply information technology in traffic regulation, vehicle management, and traffic participants.
According to the Government Office, tTraffic congestion in some large cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City has become extremely urgent. Therefore, it is necessary to have synchronous solutions in planning, traffic, construction, health care, education and training, as well as research and propose specific mechanisms and policies.
Comprehensive solutions to reduce traffic congestion must be submitted to the Prime Minister before June 30.
