Prime Minister Netanyahu: Iran has made a huge mistake and will pay the price for attacking Israel.

"Iran made a huge mistake today and will pay the price. The Iranian regime does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies," he said on television.
"We will abide by the rule we have established: If anyone attacks us, we will attack them," the prime minister added.
Netanyahu said that the Iranian attack had failed.
"This attack failed. It was thwarted thanks to Israel's air defenses, the most advanced in the world," he stated. "I also thank the United States for supporting us in our defense."
Earlier, Israel reported a large-scale missile attack originating from Iran. An airstrike warning was issued across the country, and citizens were ordered to take shelter. According to the latest figures, approximately 180 missiles were launched toward Israel, but Israel claims that the majority were intercepted.
In a related development, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that Iran's missile attack had "crossed a red line," and thanked several international politicians for showing support for Israel.
