The Prime Minister approved the election results for the positions of Chairman and 5 Vice-Chairmen of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the term 2026 - 2031.
On April 2nd, the leaders of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Office announced that the Prime Minister had issued decisions approving the election results for the positions of Chairman and 5 Vice-Chairmen of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
In Decision No. 546/QD-TTg dated March 31, 2026, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2026-2031 term for Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term.
In Decision No. 560/QD-TTg, dated March 31, 2026, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh approved the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the term 2026 - 2031, including:
Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Nguyen Van De - Member of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
These decisions take effect from the date of signing.
Previously, at the first session, held on March 27th, with 100% of the votes in favor, the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, 19th term, 2026-2031, elected Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term - to continue serving as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term; and elected Mr. Bui Thanh An, Mr. Nguyen Van De, Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh, Mr. Hoang Phu Hien, and Mr. Thai Van Thanh as Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term - to continue serving as Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
