The Prime Minister awarded decisions on designating and appointing leaders of ministries, branches and agencies.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference to announce and hand over decisions on designating, receiving, transferring, and appointing many leaders of ministries, branches, and agencies on the afternoon of September 4.
Specifically, the Prime Minister presented the Politburo's decision appointing Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and assigning the authority of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In addition, the Prime Minister also handed over decisions to receive and appoint 8 leadership personnel at ministries, branches and agencies.
Specifically, the Prime Minister handed over the decision to receive and appoint Mr. Le Van Loi - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee was received and appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Health.
Mr. Phan Chi Hieu, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee was received and appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.
Mr. Hoang Minh Son - Deputy Minister of Education and Training was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University.
Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province was received and appointed to hold the position of Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

Mr. Vu Hai Quan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Council, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.
Mr. Le Quan - Chairman of the Council, Director of Hanoi National University was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reviewed the qualifications, capacity, work history and contributions of the eight officials who were received, transferred and appointed. The appointment to new positions not only demonstrates the qualifications, capacity and prestige of the officials but also demonstrates the trust and great expectations of the Party and State leaders.
These are all qualified and capable leaders who have been well-trained and have held many positions in many fields at the central and local levels; regardless of their positions, they have constantly strived and completed their assigned tasks well.
The Prime Minister believes and hopes that all cadres in new positions and tasks will continue to promote their highest responsibility, capacity, strengths and intelligence, together with the Party Committee, Standing Committee, leaders of the Ministry, agencies and the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to unite, "keep a steady hand at the helm", constantly make efforts, strive, overcome difficulties and overcome challenges...
The Prime Minister said that we must have innovative thinking, take drastic actions, and adapt quickly to the situation; and require ministries, agencies, especially leaders, to be united, "in the same team, with the same direction, and with the same goals".

The Prime Minister asked the new personnel to immediately get to work; together with the leadership of ministries and agencies, strengthen solidarity, cooperation, and close coordination, and maintain their qualities and mettle in the face of difficulties and challenges.

The Prime Minister emphasized that taking on new tasks, especially in breakthrough sectors such as education, science and technology, healthcare, and scientific research, is both an honor and a great responsibility and challenge.
