Prime Minister requests urgent forest fire prevention in Central region
The Central provinces are assigned forces to be on duty 24/7, patrolling areas prone to forest fires.
In directing the strengthening of urgent measures to prevent and fight forest fires, the Prime Minister asked the heads of provinces in the Central region to implement the "4 on-site" principle to prevent forest fires. Localities assigned forces to be on duty 24/7 during the dry season and arranged checkpoints and patrols in fire-prone forest areas, strictly controlling people entering and exiting.

The Prime Minister assigned provinces to prepare plans to evacuate people when necessary; move people away from dangerous areas to ensure safety of life and property. At the same time, slash-and-burn farming and the use of fire in forests by people must be controlled; temporarily stop treating vegetation with fire.
Local authorities are assigned to investigate and clarify the cause of forest fires; strictly handle violators; and handle the responsibility of leaders when forest fires occur.
Pine forests on Hong Linh mountain burned like a sea of fire
(Baonghean.vn) - At around 1:00 p.m. on June 28, a large forest fire broke out in the pine forest area of sub-region 92A, village 7, Xuan Hong commune (Nghi Xuan - Ha Tinh). The fire broke out fiercely, threatening many houses.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development sends people to localities to support on-duty and command forest fire fighting. The Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security prepare plans, forces, and means to participate in forest fire prevention and control, ready to respond to emergency situations. When there is a forest fire, localities must immediately report it to the Forest Protection Department for coordination in fire fighting.

At times, the North and Central - South power systems were at risk of splitting in two.
