The Prime Minister has requested that the revenue of BOT projects be made public.
The Prime Minister has just instructed the Ministry of Transport to immediately review and rectify shortcomings in the management, operation, and placement of BOT toll stations.
Prime Minister's Directive 26/2017, recently issued, directs the Ministry of Transport to issue guidelines and instructions for monitoring the actual toll revenue of BOT projects to determine the toll collection period and rates; and to immediately review and rectify any shortcomings in management, operation, toll station locations, and toll rates.

The Prime Minister also requested that traffic volume, revenue, management costs, investor profits, loan interest rates, and construction costs of BOT projects be made public by July 2017;
The Ministry of Transport has also been tasked by the Prime Minister with directing the implementation of the roadmap for applying integrated electronic toll collection systems across all toll stations using Vietnamese technology; and reporting the progress to the Prime Minister on a quarterly basis.
