The Prime Minister requested that provincial and city leaders compile statistics on healthcare personnel serving in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The official document states that, in order to promptly and effectively serve the coordination of medical personnel for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic nationwide, the Prime Minister requests the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities to focus on immediately implementing the following tasks:

1. For Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities implementing epidemic prevention and control measures according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg that require medical personnel support: Compile the needs for support in terms of doctors, nurses, and technicians to serve in epidemic prevention and control in the area.

2. For the remaining provinces and cities that have not yet implemented Directive No. 16/CT-TTg: Compile information on the potential for providing support in terms of doctors, nurses, and technicians to serve in epidemic prevention and control in other localities nationwide.

Provinces and cities are urged to promptly compile data as stipulated in points 1 and 2 above, and report to the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control before 5:00 PM on July 20, 2021 (Tuesday).

3. Provinces and cities shall closely coordinate with the Ministry of Health to seriously and effectively implement the allocation and organization of vaccination for eligible individuals as prescribed, ensuring timeliness, safety, and effectiveness. The Minister of Health shall direct, guide, and coordinate with localities to strictly implement this.

This is a very important and urgent task; I request that the Provincial and City Party Secretaries direct and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities focus on directing its strict and effective implementation and report within the prescribed timeframe.
