Prime Minister requests general inspection of military vehicle license plates

Authorities are assigned to strengthen inspection and handling of cases of fake red license plates circulating on the road.

The Government Office has just conveyed the direction of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, assigning the Ministry of National Defense to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Security and localities to conduct a general inspection of military license plates nationwide.

The Prime Minister also requested that authorities strengthen the detection and handling of cases of fake red license plates circulating on the roads.

Previously, the press reported that recently, many container truck and truck drivers with fake red license plates were speeding and overloading... on the streets.

On March 22, the Prime Minister also assigned the Ministry of Public Security to recall 516 license plates 80A and 80B that had been issued to businesses, to be completed before June 30.
