The Prime Minister orders a comprehensive inspection of military vehicle license plates.
Authorities have been tasked with stepping up inspections and taking action against cases of vehicles using fake red license plates on the roads.
The Government Office has just conveyed the directive of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, assigning the Ministry of National Defense to take the lead and coordinate with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Security, and local authorities to conduct a comprehensive inspection of military vehicle license plates nationwide.

The Prime Minister also requested that authorities intensify efforts to detect and handle cases of vehicles using fake red license plates on the roads.
Previously, the press reported that recently, many drivers of container trucks and other trucks with fake red license plates have been driving recklessly and carrying overloaded cargo on the streets.
On March 22, the Prime Minister also instructed the Ministry of Public Security to revoke 516 license plates with the prefixes 80A and 80B that had been issued to businesses, to be completed before June 30.
