The match between U17 Song Lam Nghe An and U17 PVF is a match worth waiting for, the early final of the season. While U17 PVF has the strongest force, SLNA is at a disadvantage when Captain Quang Vinh is not available due to a penalty card. The replacement for number 14 is midfielder Nguyen Van Linh. Striker Tran Quoc Hoa is also unable to participate due to injury in the match with Binh Phuoc.

True to the nature of the semi-final, the two teams entered the match quite cautiously and did not push the attack speed too high. However, with many players with equal basic techniques, U17 Song Lam Nghe An controlled the game better than the opponent.

But it was not until the 20th minute of the match that the Nghe An strikers created their first chance. From an attack on the left wing, the ball was flipped to Phung Van Nam, but unfortunately, this striker's header was not difficult enough to defeat goalkeeper Nguyen Thanh Long of PVF.

After the opportunity, the excitement of the U17 Song Lam Nghe An strikers was pushed higher. The Nghe An team continuously put pressure on the opponent's field. A series of opportunities were created in front of Thanh Long's goal. However, the final shots of Le Dinh Long Vu or Phung Van Nam were still not lucky enough to score against PVF.

The left wing was chosen by Nghe An U17 as the main attacking force. The 1-2 passing combinations were applied quite smoothly by the students of coach Phan Tien Hoai. From the rotation on the left wing, the ball was passed back inside to the strikers. This way of playing forced PVF players to retreat deep into their home field to defend.

In the 35th minute, a clear opportunity was created in front of the opponent's goal. However, luck still did not smile on the yellow team. The situation started from a pass from Nguyen Trong Son, the ball came to Phung Van Nam's feet. But this striker's shot went straight to goalkeeper Thanh Long.

45 minutes passed with much regret for the Nghe An team. They missed no less than 3 chances in front of Thanh Long's goal. The Nghe An strikers still lacked the necessary coolness to score.

Entering the second half, U17 Song Lam Nghe An was still the team that completely took the initiative and created the first opportunity in front of PVF's goal. It seemed like the goal had come to the yellow team in the 65th minute of the match. However, from a distance of less than 5m, the striker of U17 Nghe An still kicked the ball into the foot of a PVF defender and went wide.

After many opportunities were created in front of the opponent's goal, U17 Song Lam Nghe An broke the deadlock. In the 75th minute, from a set piece free kick, Captain Le Nguyen Hoang made a difficult cross, allowing Nguyen Quang Luc to unleash a powerful shot that broke the net of goalkeeper Thanh Long.

However, less than 5 minutes later, PVF restored the balance of the match. From a pass from Thai Ba Dat on the right wing, Quang Tu had a rather cunning move into the penalty area, scoring against Bao Ngoc.

In the final minutes of the match, the two teams played tit for tat. However, at the end of 90 minutes, the score remained unchanged and the two teams had to decide the winner in a risky penalty shootout.

The brilliance of substitute goalkeeper Nguyen Minh Kha helped PVF U17 win against Song Lam Nghe An U17 in a penalty shootout full of luck. Nghe An U17 sadly stopped in the semi-finals of the 2022 National U17 Tournament.
