Actor Thua Tuan AnhEverything came to me like fate. I spent three years training in the disciplined environment of the K20 Mobile Police Command, and after completing my service, I remember my first foray into acting when I went to a film set with a friend. Unexpectedly, the director saw me and gave me an audition for an extra role. For some reason, after those extra roles, I got access to small acting parts and was invited to star in music videos for singers like Cao Thai Son and Hien Ho… After many successful music videos with high viewership, I became more well-known and began to get involved in film and television. The biggest turning point that led me to seriously pursue acting was when I witnessed audiences shedding tears over the scenes I performed.

PV: WhenThua Tuan Anh decided to switch to a completely new field; how did you convince your parents?

Actor Thua Tuan Anh:I completely understand how worried my parents were at the time, because it was so different from what they had expected of me. But when I told them about becoming an actress, they were quite surprised, because art was a completely unfamiliar world to my family. At that moment, I thought I should let them believe in me and give myself some time to challenge myself with this job for one or two years.

For the past two years, I have continuously strived to build a solid personal brand, so that audiences will remember Thua Tuan Anh for his talent and seriousness in his profession, not just as a fleeting phenomenon.

Actor Thua Tuan Anh:For me, the three years I spent serving in the armed forces were incredibly valuable, helping me to mature significantly. I learned to live a more disciplined life, to dedicate myself to the collective, and most importantly, to focus on the core values of life. Although fate later prevented me from continuing in the service, that rigorous training forged a strong character in me, a man who is not afraid of hardship or difficulty when facing any role on set.

PV:Now let's talk about the roles.Hoang Dinh Quy, a young soldier from the old days in the film "No Time".- This is the first television series you've participated in that requires a very deep understanding of history. How did you manage to portray this role so well?

Thua Tuan Anh:This was a role that Tuan Anh had to work hard to get through four rounds of casting, so the pressure was immense. As a young person born in peacetime, I understand that I cannot fully comprehend the brutality that our ancestors went through. Therefore, I consider it a great responsibility to improve myself further: from researching documents and watching many historical films. In particular, I personally met with and listened to the stories of previous generations to truly understand the hardships faced by soldiers in the past. And I think it's fortunate that I spent three years in the military; it's an invaluable "plus," helping me to develop the demeanor of a soldier and embody this role as authentically as possible.

PV:Being a young actor and a complete amateur. But you've been given opportunities to showcase your talent in numerous television and film productions. What kind of image do you aspire to project?

Thua Tuan AnhI realize that I'm a very instinctive actor, lacking the experience to control these instincts. Fortunately, with guidance from senior actors and directors, I've started to learn how to better manage them. I believe acting is a journey of experience and self-renewal. In the future, I have a particular fondness for historical roles and a strong desire to embody them.

These will be stories about hidden aspects and untold stories, full of promise.

However, at the moment, due to the film crew's confidentiality regulations, I cannot disclose the project name or specific role details.
