Promoting cooperation between Nghe An and PUM organization (Netherlands)
Nghe An small and medium enterprises open up cooperation opportunities with PUM (Netherlands) - a global network of senior experts, ready to accompany in knowledge transfer, improving management capacity and expanding markets.
On March 21, Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi - Director of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center chaired a meeting with the delegation of PUM (Netherlands) led by Mr. Sven Dekker - National Coordinator, Chief Representative of PUM in Vietnam. Attending were representatives of relevant departments, branches and associations and business associations in the province.

The program is organized to exchange and connect cooperation between PUM and Nghe An business community in enhancing management capacity, transferring international experience, contributing to improving the competitiveness of local businesses.
At the meeting, the representative of PUM introduced an overview of the organization, support programs, implementation methods and areas of expertise that PUM can advise Vietnamese businesses in general and Nghe An in particular.
Currently, PUM has a network of more than 1,200 senior experts in fields such as manufacturing, agriculture, industry, tourism, corporate governance, branding, logistics, digital transformation... This is a valuable resource that PUM is ready to connect with to support local businesses to access international practical knowledge effectively and economically.

During the discussion, delegates representing business associations in the province discussed the support needs of businesses and hoped to receive practical cooperation from PUM.
Mr. Tran Anh Son - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, Chairman of the Nghe An Outstanding Business Association expressed his hope that PUM will soon coordinate with the Center and the Outstanding Business Association to implement activities to invite on-site consultants and widely introduce the program to the business community throughout the province.
The representative of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Nghe An - Ha Tinh - Quang Binh region also proposed expanding cooperation with PUM to organize specialized training courses, especially direct training at enterprises according to the hand-on model, thereby helping enterprises improve their internal capacity.
Many associations have also expressed interest in inviting PUM experts to provide advice in the fields of product branding, community tourism development, international market access and digital transformation in business management; clarifying the acceptance process and how to implement the support program, so that associations and business groups can access it easily.
Mr. Sven Dekker - National Coordinator of PUM in Vietnam affirmed that he will actively connect with units to provide detailed instructions and implement the program in Nghe An.
In particular, PUM has a separate support policy for women-owned businesses, which is considered very suitable for the province's comprehensive and sustainable development orientation.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi - Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Nghe An province highly appreciated the role of PUM in supporting the development of small and medium enterprises. He said that with the spirit of openness and accompanying businesses, the Center is committed to being the focal point for connecting and supporting the effective implementation of cooperation activities with PUM in the locality.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi also proposed some specific cooperation contents such as: Coordinating to develop plans to organize specialized training courses by industry groups such as food processing, supporting industry, tourism, brand building, logistics, etc.
Implement on-site consulting activities for businesses with specific needs. Increase support for women-owned business groups. Support the transfer of modern management models and connect experts with business associations to build long-term, systematic and sustainable programs.
On the same afternoon, the PUM delegation, together with the Center and representatives of relevant units, conducted a field survey at a number of enterprises in Vinh City. This activity aims to help PUM experts gain a realistic view of the operating situation and production model, as well as clearly identify the specific support needs of each enterprise, as a basis for developing appropriate consulting content in the coming time.

The meeting opened up many potential cooperation opportunities and demonstrated the determination of the parties in improving the quality of business support, contributing to promoting the economic development of Nghe An province in the new period.
