In the hot sun, the club's volunteers worked all afternoon. Due to overwork, Mr. Khuyen fainted right in front of the Hung Dung Ward People's Committee. Despite the hardships and difficulties, the volunteers' enthusiasm could not be stopped. "We are collecting donations to start the next food support trips for Vinh City and Dien Chau," Mr. Khuyen shared.

During this time, people in many communes in Nam Dan enthusiastically contributed food, vegetables and fruits to local pagodas to transport to Vinh. It can be said that, in order to promptly support the quarantine areas to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, especially Vinh City, in recent days, many organizations, individuals, departments, branches and unions in localities have launched calls and joined hands to donate with the spirit of "mutual love", "a piece when hungry is worth a package when full", all for the cause of successful epidemic prevention.

On this occasion, people in each region have participated in contributing and supporting in many ways. Some contributed labor, some contributed money: cash, homegrown fruits, hometown specialties... In some localities, people took the time to process food into ready-to-eat dishes, to keep for a long time.

Although they are just ordinary, rustic dishes, they convey the deep affection of the people in the countryside for the quarantine areas in the province. In some places, where food cannot be processed, people immediately transport fresh vegetables and fruits donated during the day to Vinh city. For example, the Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Lam commune (Hung Nguyen) coordinated with donors to donate 5 tons of green squash to the Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh city.

Warmth of humanity during the epidemic season

In the spirit of "every family joins hands to fight the epidemic", a mutual support movement has been created across localities. In addition to donating materials, cooking meals, contributing milk boxes, eggs... to support the task force and people quarantined in the locality, people in the districts also actively organize charity programs for the beloved Vinh city.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang from Do Luong said: In the past few days, he has organized 6 trips to transport free relief goods from Thanh Chuong and Do Luong residents, including food and provisions, to Vinh to hand over to the receiving points.

Late at night, every household joins hands to prepare jackfruit pickles and pickled bamboo shoots, and volunteer trucks carrying relief goods rush to Vinh city, evoking images of the flood days last year, when our countrymen shared the joys and sorrows with the people in the flooded areas of the Central region. It seems that amidst natural disasters and epidemics, the love of fellow countrymen shines brighter than ever.
