In Document No. 4280/VPCP-KTTH, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai assigned the Ministry of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to immediately implement Resolution No. 20/2022/UBTVQH15 on environmental protection tax rates for gasoline, oil, and grease.
The National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution to reduce environmental protection tax on gasoline.

The National Assembly Standing Committee held an extraordinary meeting on the morning of July 6 and decided, within its authority, to continue reducing environmental protection tax on gasoline, oil, and grease.
