On the afternoon of October 29, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting in October to evaluate the results of October's activities and discuss and agree on tasks for November. Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.
Attending the regular meeting were comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Standing comrades, Standing members of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of relevant departments and branches.
At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and delegates discussed the contents of preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Preparations for the 33rd session (special session) of the 18th Provincial People's Council; Report on people's petitions in October 2025; Evaluation of the results of activities in October, discussion and agreement on tasks for November 2025.
In October, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council listened to and commented on the adjustment of the list of resolutions, issued a notice to convene the meeting, assigned to review the draft Resolution to be submitted to the 33rd Session of the Provincial People's Council. Conducted thematic supervision on sustainable poverty reduction, supervised the resolution of outstanding voters' petitions, and surveyed the implementation of health insurance policies in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Participate in receiving citizens, reviewing and urging the settlement of petitions and letters, meeting with voters, editing the Provincial People's Council Minutes, and periodically reporting on the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.
Prepare for elections, develop a plan for the 6-month explanation session, develop a plan for the regular meeting at the end of 2025, attend the Provincial Party Congress, and participate in the 2-level government working groups.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council expressed his agreement with the draft report on the implementation of tasks in October, and at the same time noted a number of key tasks in November, focusing on preparations for the regular year-end meeting and thematic meetings, ensuring the quality of draft resolutions and reports.
In addition, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also emphasized the monitoring of the sustainable poverty reduction program and the settlement of voters' petitions, while noting the importance of communicating and handling complaints and denunciations closely and in accordance with procedures.
Acknowledging the progress in the work of monitoring petitions of the Provincial People's Council Office, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu requested to immediately deploy the document management and operation software that had just been trained. All petitions, recommendations and related tasks must be fully updated on the system to serve the work of monitoring and urging in real time for timely handling.
