Also attending the meeting were: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and representatives from the leadership of Do Luong and Hung Nguyen districts, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department and Office.

Those retiring under this scheme include former members of the Provincial Party Committee: Hoang Viet Duong - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Van Phi - former Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hung Nguyen District; and Le Minh Giang - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Do Luong District.

At the meeting, representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department summarized the work history and contributions of the comrades retiring in this batch.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Hoang Viet Duong, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for its attention to the comrades who have retired. Although retired, they continue to follow the province's activities and are pleased to see the province's many positive developments in socio-economic growth, investment attraction, and revenue collection. They also promised that upon returning to their localities, they will always be exemplary Party members and good citizens, contributing their opinions to the development of their homeland.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - briefly reported on the outstanding socio-economic situation of the province in 2021 and some major policy decisions for the coming years. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council thanked, acknowledged, and highly appreciated the contributions of the comrades; although working in different fields, they all share a common point: they have long years of service, are deeply involved in practical work at the grassroots level, always strive to improve, and wholeheartedly contribute their efforts to building strong agencies and units, contributing to the overall development of the province. The comrades retiring this time all have a long record of achievements, having been awarded badges, medals, and many titles and certificates of merit by the Party and the State, which is a recognition of their contributions.

The Provincial Party Secretary also expressed his hope that the comrades would continue to share their experiences and contribute ideas to the development of the localities where they retire, in particular, and Nghe An province in general.
