(Baonghean.vn) - It is expected that the total discharge flow at Khe Bo hydropower plant will be approximately 510 m³/s to 680 m³/s (including power generation through the turbines and through the spillway), which may vary depending on the water inflow into the reservoir.
At 11:18 AM, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 246/TB-KHPP dated August 22, 2022, from Khe Bo Hydropower Plant regarding the operation and water regulation of the hydropower plant's reservoir.Khe Bo.

To ensure the safe regulation of water levels in the Khe Bo Hydropower Plant reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir and multi-reservoir operating procedures on the Ca River basin, the Khe Bo Hydropower Plant plans to operate the Khe Bo hydropower reservoir water regulation as follows:

Discharge rateTotal discharge flow rate is approximately 510.m³The inflow to 680 m³/s (including power generation through turbines and spillway) may vary depending on the water flow into the reservoir.
Time of completion of water discharge through the spillwayUntil the water inflow into the reservoir drops below 487 m³/s.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense hereby informs the People's Committees of the districts of Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen and Vinh City; Heads of provincial departments and agencies; and the Road Management Department 2 to inform all levels of government, agencies, units, investors currently constructing along and on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the downstream area of Khe Bo Hydropower Plant to implement necessary measures to ensure the safety of lives and property of the State and the people.
