Hydropower plant in Nghe An announces flood discharge

On the afternoon of July 17, the water flow to Khe Bo Lake was 650 m³/s and continues to increase. The expected water flow on the Ca River to Khe Bo Hydropower Reservoir from 1:00 a.m. on July 18, 2018 is about 800 m³/s to 1700 m³/s. To ensure the plant operates safely according to the inter-reservoir operation process in the Ca River basin, this plant plans to discharge floodwater starting at 1:00 a.m. on July 18, 2018.

Total discharge expected from 800m³/s to 1,700m³/s (Including the discharge flow through the spillway and the power generation flow through the generator).
