Former football player Cong Vinh faced considerable criticism from the public after news broke that his sister, Khanh Chi, had gone to Singapore to sing in a bar and had a relationship with a married man.

On her personal page, singer Thuy Tien spoke out for the first time about the controversy surrounding Cong Vinh's family. Since the evening of June 8th, information about Khanh Chi - Cong Vinh's sister - leaving her husband, going to Singapore to sing in bars, and being suspected of stealing someone else's husband has caused much debate on social media.

Netizens also brought up the old story of the famous footballer's sister having to sell lottery tickets to make a living. Many criticized Cong Vinh for being too focused on his own family and not supporting his relatives.

"Everyone must work hard and live honestly to have a good life. Once you reach adulthood and have a family, you must take responsibility for your own life," singer Thuy Tien wrote.

The owner of the hit song "Too Late" believes that children have a duty to take care of their parents. That is their responsibility. But with siblings, they can only help and advise.

"You can advise them, but you can't tie their hands and force them to live according to your wishes," she emphasized. Thuy Tien didn't hesitate to recount how Cong Vinh once bought a house for his sister, but she didn't keep it, instead selling it and making a living selling lottery tickets.

Regarding Khanh Chi's case, Thuy Tien said that Cong Vinh had helped her get a good education and find a decent job. But Khanh Chi decided her own life afterward.

"Is it my fault if, after helping them wholeheartedly and pleading with them to the fullest, they still prefer to sell the assets I gave them to sell lottery tickets, or if I worry about their education, help them get a good job, and they refuse, and don't want me to interfere in their personal lives?" the singer said angrily.

Thuy Tien expressed her outrage at the harsh criticism her husband has been receiving online in recent days. “Has any of those who are insulting my husband spent billions of dong helping their family, siblings, and supporting their parents… Living a good life without negatively impacting society is already a great achievement in this society,” she angrily stated.

Thuy Tien's post received over 20,000 likes. Many viewers believe Thuy Tien's viewpoint is correct. Cong Vinh has no responsibility for the lives of others, even if they are siblings. "As an adult, you must take responsibility for your own actions," one viewer commented.

During his years of dedication to the national team, Cong Vinh also brought in many valuable contracts. He bought houses and cars for his parents, older sister, and younger brother. After graduating, Cong Vinh's younger sister worked at a government agency. She got married and had children. Khanh Chi's life was quite quiet until recently.

A woman named Linda, living in Singapore, accused Khanh Chi of singing in bars in Singapore and seducing her husband. Khanh Chi, for her part, deactivated her social media accounts and cut off all contact following the rumors.
