Inject 30,000 doses of rabies vaccine
(Baonghean.vn)- In Nghe An province, there have been a number of cases of death due to rabid dog bites. In order to limit the spread of rabies, Do Luong has proactively vaccinated dogs against rabies in localities throughout the district.

On this occasion, the entire Do Luong district will organize rabies vaccination for over 30,000 dogs. Before that, in order to achieve good results in the vaccination, the district has informed the communes about the vaccination plan, and at the same time organized propaganda in the area to mobilize people to raise awareness and understanding of rabies vaccination for dogs, contributing to protecting the health of pets and limiting the spread of disease in the community.
Along with that, the district steering committee requires the drastic participation of local authorities, each cadre and party member must be exemplary in implementing rabies vaccination for their family's livestock.
Currently, the district's Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station has received 16,000 doses of dog rabies vaccine from the provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department and 33 communes and towns have received vaccines to implement vaccination.
Do Luong strives to complete rabies vaccination for dogs in 2017 before April 20.
