Striker Dinh Bac performs a meaningful act of support for flood victims in Nghe An.

Immediately after winning the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship in Indonesia with the Vietnam U23 team, young striker Dinh Bac made a meaningful gesture by donating 30 million VND through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to support people in his hometown in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3.

Sharing his thoughts on this decision, Dinh Bac emotionally expressed: “During the time I was with the Vietnam U23 team competing in the Southeast Asian U23 Championship, even though I was in Indonesia, I always followed the situation back home. I truly sympathize with the people in Western Nghe An who are working day and night to overcome the severe consequences of the storm, with many losing their homes and possessions. Because the whole team had to focus entirely on the tournament, today, having completed our mission, I would like to send a small token of my appreciation, hoping to contribute a little support to help the people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as soon as possible.”

Not only did Dinh Bac make his mark with a noble gesture, but he was also one of the most outstanding players who helped the Vietnam U23 team successfully defend their Southeast Asian championship title. With his passionate playing style, composure, and unwavering fighting spirit, the striker born in 2004 made a significant contribution to the championship victory and was honored by the organizers as the "Best Player of the Tournament".

The "Best Player" award at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship is a well-deserved reward for the striker from Nghe An. With this achievement, the Vietnam U23 team has completed a hat-trick of regional championships in three consecutive tournaments (2022, 2023, and 2025), affirming Vietnam's number one position in youth football in Southeast Asia.
