Mr. Hoi said: “In the latest notice sent to Hanoi Club, the AFC Disciplinary Board said that for attacking a player of Ceres (Philippines) and receiving a red card, Samson was suspended for a total of 3 matches and fined 1,000 USD.

Because Hanoi FC was eliminated early in the group stage of the 2017 AFC Cup and Samson was absent in the final group stage match between Hanoi and Felda United FC (Malaysia) on May 3, this player was also suspended for 2 more matches in the framework of the highest football tournaments of Vietnam in 2017.

Thus, striker Samson will not be able to play against SLNA in the round of 16 of the National Cup on June 4. Next, this player will be forced to miss the make-up match of round 11 of V-League 2017 against XSKT Can Tho on June 9. Striker Samson's penalty will end after the two matches mentioned above...".

According to Mr. Hoi, because Hang Day Stadium is in the process of being completely renovated, Hanoi FC has rented My Dinh Stadium to play matches in the National Cup and the first matches of the second leg of V-League 2017.
