On the homepage, Bayern Munich's board of directors officially announced the signing of 30-year-old striker Sandro Wagner under a contract that runs until 2020. According to the German press, the Bavarian team will have to pay Hoffenheim 13 million euros to bring Wagner back to the Allianz Arena.

In addition, Wagner will wear the number 2 shirt at Bayern. Explaining this unusual shirt number for a striker, Wagner simply replied: "This is my second term at Bayern, so it's a nice shirt number."

Wagner was a product of Bayern's youth academy before moving to clubs such as MSV Duisburg, Werder Bremen, FC Kaiserslautern, Hertha Berlin, Darmstadt 98 and then Hoffenheim.

Thanks to his progress at Hoffenheim, Wagner was called up to the German national team in 2017, making seven appearances and scoring five goals. He was also a member of the German team that won the 2017 Confederations Cup.

Wagner is expected to make his debut for the "Gray Tigers" fans when the Bundesliga returns with a trip to Bayer Leverkusen on January 12, 2018. In the coming time, the Bundesliga will enter the winter break and Bayern members will also have a chance to relax before going to the Middle East for training.

Regarding Bayern, this team has just extended the contract with winger Kingsley Coman until 2023. Previously, Bayern paid Juventus 21 million euros to buy Coman after 2 years of loan.
