The socio-economy has achieved quite comprehensive development, with a stable average growth rate of production value over the years.

The economic structure of Tien Dong commune has had a positive shift, gradually reducing dependence on agriculture and enhancing the role of industry - construction and services. Although agriculture, forestry and fishery still hold a significant proportion, the parallel development of industry and services shows an economy that is gradually diversifying, creating many job opportunities and improving labor productivity. The average added value per capita has reached an impressive level, directly reflecting the marked improvement in people's income and quality of life.

In the field of agriculture, forestry and fishery, Tien Dong commune focuses on developing towards increasing added value, not only focusing on quantity but also on quality and economic efficiency, making an important contribution to the total production value of the commune. In particular, the work of planting new forests on a large area has significantly increased the forest cover rate, demonstrating the commune's strong commitment to environmental protection, sustainable development and effective management of forest resources. Annual fish production is also maintained at a stable level, contributing to diversifying food sources and livelihoods for the community.

Industry, handicrafts and construction continued to develop strongly, contributing significantly to the overall economic growth. The average growth rate of this sector exceeded the overall growth rate of the whole commune.

The transportation system of Tien Dong commune has been upgraded synchronously and modernized impressively. Dozens of kilometers of commune roads, inter-commune roads and inter-hamlet roads have been asphalted or concreted, creating favorable conditions for travel, trade and connecting areas inside and outside the commune. In addition, hundreds of kilometers of alleys have been hardened and cleaned, contributing to improving the quality of the living environment and the appearance of the countryside. The service and trade sector also recorded stable development. Budget collection in the area has achieved outstanding results, far exceeding the resolution target. In addition, indicators of basic quality of life such as the rate of households using clean water and the rate of food safety are all high, affirming the commune's commitment to ensuring health and welfare for the people.

One of the most outstanding achievements in this period is the new rural construction program with breakthrough results. From 12/19 criteria achieved at the beginning of the term, Tien Dong commune has excellently completed 19/19 criteria 3 years ahead of schedule compared to the Resolution of the Congress. This is a strong testament to the determination and consensus of the entire political system and people in building a new rural area that is spacious, clean, civilized and worth living.

In the field of education, the commune has made strong investments in facilities and equipment, creating the best learning environment for students. Along with that, the rate of qualified teachers and students attending school at the right age is 100%.

Cultural, physical education and sports activities are also maintained and developed vigorously, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people. The rate of cultural families and hamlets achieving the title of cultural village is constantly increasing.

In particular, the Buon Xao Festival associated with the Le Loi Citadel Historical Site is organized on a large scale, not only preserving the unique cultural identity of the locality but also opening up opportunities to develop community tourism, attracting tourists and creating additional income for the people. This event is a cultural highlight, contributing to promoting the image of Tien Dong commune to friends inside and outside the province.

The primary health sector has been focused on upgrading, the quality of medical examination and treatment has been increasingly improved, ensuring people have access to the best health care services. Maintaining national health standards after re-evaluation is a testament to the capacity and professionalism of the local health team. Notably, the rate of people with electronic health records is over 50%, showing the application of information technology in health management, making personal health monitoring more convenient and effective.

The work of labor and employment has received special attention, focusing on improving skills and creating job opportunities for the people. The commune has organized vocational training for thousands of rural workers, contributing to increasing the rate of trained workers and meeting the needs of the labor market. Thousands of new jobs have been created, along with the introduction of a large number of workers to work under contracts abroad, contributing to solving the employment problem, increasing income and improving the lives of many families. At the same time, social security work has been carried out promptly and effectively with 67 houses built and repaired, with a total cost of nearly 3 billion VND.

In particular, administrative reform and digital transformation have had clear changes, bringing outstanding efficiency in serving people and businesses. The rate of completely online records reached a high level, 100% of records were resolved before the deadline and achieved 100% satisfaction of the people.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have also constantly innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on residential areas and specific regions. Emulation movements have been widely deployed, focusing on supporting production, mobilizing resources to help the poor and joining hands to build new rural areas, contributing to creating a strong national solidarity bloc.

In the context of development, national defense and security work is always maintained and strengthened. Tien Dong commune regularly disseminates and educates on national defense and security to cadres, party members and people, raising awareness and responsibility for protecting the Fatherland. Military recruitment has reached 100% of the target, along with the full implementation of regimes and policies for the subjects, demonstrating the concern of the Party and the State. Political security, order and social safety are always maintained and stable, the movement "All people protect national security" is promoted, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development.

Development goals for the period 2025-2030

The commune Party Committee, with 32 affiliated Party cells and more than 500 Party members, plays a leading role, guiding all activities, from economic development to socio-political stability. The first Congress of the Tien Dong Commune Party Committee has determined a clear and comprehensive development motto: "Economic development is the central task, Party building is the key, culture is the driving force for comprehensive development". This motto not only sets out the vision but also guides specific actions in the period of 2025-2030, towards the goal of building a rich, beautiful and civilized Tien Dong commune.

With that spirit, Tien Dong commune has set remarkable goals, such as: By 2030, the commune strives to meet 19/19 advanced new rural criteria; In terms of economy, the growth rate of total product value is targeted to reach 10% or more, raising average income per capita from 60-65 million VND/year; In education, increase the rate of schools meeting national standards level 2 to 37.5%...

To achieve these strategic goals, in addition to the task of building a clean, strong Party organization and comprehensive innovation, the commune will continue to improve the quality and competitiveness of agricultural products, promote sustainable economic development, and improve the quality of education.
