Hello Phi Son, after 10 rounds of V.League 2017, you have played quite well for SLNA and scored 2 goals. Are you satisfied with your performance and achievements?
- From the beginning of the season until now, I have tried my best to play and everyone can see that I have improved a lot in my playing style because before many people often said that it was too complicated. Until now, I have gradually improved myself, lost weight and gradually improved my weaknesses to become better. I think that this season I have to try harder to contribute to SLNA Club.

From a young player and now together with Nguyen Manh, Ngoc Hai, Khac Ngoc becoming the pillars of the team, what is different between the first time you stepped onto the field to compete in V.League and now?
- The first time I played as a starter in V.League at Vinh Stadium, many nights before that I was restless and couldn't sleep because I thought that tomorrow I would be playing in a big stadium. When I stepped onto Vinh Stadium to face XT Saigon, the audience was very crowded and I really felt very nervous and pressured, very shaken.
Not very confident but still told myself to show my best to gain the trust of the coaching board. Now I am used to the pressure, when I go on the field I try to show my best. Having played with seniors like Cong Vinh and Trong Hoang has also helped me learn a lot.
You are 25 years old and your contract with SLNA will expire next December. Although it is still quite early to talk about this issue, what do you think if one day you have to leave?
- When I was still at SLNA, wearing the yellow shirt, I still tried my best, burned with all my heart. That is also what many other players who grew up from Vinh Stadium wished to play for the team that raised them. For me, playing here is always a source of pride and happiness.

Leaving or staying is normal in professional football, but if unfortunately for some reason you are no longer playing for SLNA, how would you feel?
- If I cannot stay and compete with my teammates at SLNA, it will definitely be a very sad feeling. Really!
Since I was a child, I have lived and trained here, living in a group that sees each other as family members. At that time, I really hoped that the young players would play well and the team would achieve high results. If I leave, I will try to prove myself and when I come back, I will do the same. That is what I want to say.
