Just 10 minutes after being put on the field to replace Van Vinh in the 67th minute of the match against HAGL in the 10th round of V.League, midfielder Ngoc Toan suffered a serious injury after a ball-loving situation. Ngoc Toan's injury was quite serious, so the medical team had to inject painkillers and immediately put the midfielder in an ambulance and take him straight to the hospital.

This afternoon (March 21), at the Vietnam Sports Hospital, Dr. Nguyen Trong Hien, a sports injury expert and currently Head of the Medical Department of the Hanoi National Sports Training Center, who directly examined Ngoc Toan, concluded that he had a sprained ligament in his left knee.

With this injury, Ngoc Toan will have to wear a splint, abstain for 2 weeks, and need at least 1 month of rehabilitation before he can return to normal training. Previously, the SLNA player was worried that he had torn a ligament or damaged his meniscus because these are all serious injuries and are difficult to treat and recover from.

Thus, SLNA will certainly not have the service of the midfielder born in 1994 for 1 month in important matches against Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi at Hang Day Stadium. Without Ngoc Toan, SLNA's coaching board will likely continue to consider the option of using Que Ngoc Hai or Van Vinh to fill the defensive midfielder position left by Ngoc Toan.
