Vietnam's people-to-people diplomacy is a unique creation of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and a crucial element throughout the Vietnamese revolutionary process in realizing the strategic idea of "combining national strength with the strength of the times." The close coordination between people-to-people diplomacy, Party diplomacy, and state diplomacy forms the combined strength of the foreign relations front.
The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations is an independent socio-political organization specializing in people-to-people diplomacy, operating in the fields of peace, solidarity, friendship, and mobilizing people-to-people aid.
