Rare personal information about Kim Jong-un revealed

Kim Jong-un is the third generation leader of North Korea and his personal information is always kept secret.

Kim Jong-un’s true age remains a question. In 2016, the US Treasury Department listed his birth date as January 8, 1984. Other sources say he was born on the same day, but in 1983.

He is the son of the late President Kim Jong-il and Mrs. Ko Yong-hui. The late President Kim Jong-il had 7 children, including 4 daughters and 3 sons. Mr. Kim Jong-un is the youngest son.

As a child, he attended Liebefeld-Steinholzli Schule, a public school in Switzerland, under the name Pak Un. Around the age of 17, he returned to his home country.

While studying in Switzerland, Kim Jong-un was weak in natural sciences and good at music and engineering.

The young North Korean leader is a big fan of American basketball. As a young man, he admired star Michael Jordan. He is friends with retired player Dennis Rodman. Rodman has visited North Korea several times.

Kim Jong-un has two degrees, one in physics from Kim Il-sung University, and one in military science from Kim Il-sung Military University.

Kim Jong-un married Ri Sol Ju in 2009. They had a daughter named Ju Ae in 2012. There are now rumors that the North Korean leader has had another child.
