Previously, at 2:00 a.m. on July 1, 2016, at Km 418 on National Highway 1A in Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau District, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered a passenger car with license plate 38N. 5507 of Son Ha Company Limited, traveling from Nuoc Ngam Bus Station (Hanoi) to Ha Tinh.

At the time of inspection, driver Le Van Nam (born in 1972), residing in Binh Yen hamlet, Thach Binh commune, Ha Tinh city, was driving and could not present documents proving the origin of the poultry. The driver admitted to transporting 17 boxes of poultry including chickens and ducklings to Vinh and Ha Tinh for a total of 1,050,000 VND.

After completing the procedures, the above poultry were destroyed by Dien Chau Veterinary Station according to regulations.
