These days, Mr. Hung and Ms. Huyen (Vinh City) have been driving their truck all the way to Quynh Luu to sell pineapples in Vinh. They sell both wholesale and retail, and serve right on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Avenue. They import about 2 tons every day and sell them all in one day. Pineapples bought in Quynh Luu cost 7,000 - 8,000 VND/kg, and when they arrive in Vinh, they are sorted into small ones and sold by the fruit, and large ones cost 13,000 VND/kg. Sometimes Ms. Huyen has to mobilize her family to peel the pineapples in time to serve customers. According to Ms. Huyen, pineapples peeled according to customers' requests are easier to sell.

Many housewives in Vinh City believe that buying Quynh Luu pineapples feels safe because they are produced by local farmers, so they just buy a few at a time and put them in the refrigerator to eat gradually.

Mr. Phan Tien Dung - Chairman of Tan Thang Commune People's Committee (Quynh Luu) said: The commune has 160 hectares of pineapple, the total output this crop is about 3,200 tons. Since the factory stopped buying pineapples, farmers still produce Queen pineapples to sell to the market. Currently, in the area, every day, more than 20 tons of pineapples are consumed to the markets of Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Vinh City, Ha Tinh.
