This year, to give the audience a deeper look at the contestants, the Miss World Organizing Committee has made a big change in format: The Head-to-head challenge will have 2 rounds, instead of just 1 like before.
This year's 120 contestants will be divided into 20 groups, each group consisting of 6 contestants based on the results of the draw. Miss Tieu Vy is in group 12 with representatives from Egypt, South Sudan, Bahama, Montenegro, and India. This is considered one of the strongest groups of this year's contestants.
In round 1, the contestants will answer questions posed by the organizers, there will be 1 general question for the whole group and 1 individual question for each contestant. After the clips of the groups are uploaded, the audience will have the right to vote for their favorite contestant through Miss World's social media channels, choosing the winner of each group. The 20 winning contestants will move on to round 2.
In round 2, the contestants will speak about their charity projects. Round 2 is more intense, the contestants will compete and be eliminated to get a ticket to the top 30 of the competition.
Thus, after 2 rounds of Head to Head Challenge, 10 tickets for the final Top 30 will be selected.
