(Baonghean.vn) - On October 28 in Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the contest to learn about new cooperative models. The contest, launched in early 2016, has attracted many units, sectors, and cooperatives in the province to participate. The final round has 12 works of visual and spoken press; 12 works of written press; and the stage play and skit competition has 14/21 districts, cities, and towns participating in the contest.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong awarded the first and second prizes in the stage skit category to the teams Hung Nguyen, Quy Hop, Yen Thanh, .

All journalistic works and theatrical sketches adhered closely to the purpose, requirements and content of the contest. The works and sketches were invested, rich in content, and had high artistic and propaganda value. The participating teams followed the contest rules and regulations. 100% of the works and sketches complied well with the contest regulations, and no works and sketches violated the contest regulations.

Leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Union and Nghe An Newspaper awarded prizes to the authors who won first, second and third prizes in the written newspaper category.

Through the works and practical contest entries, useful information is provided to help people better understand the meaning, importance, as well as the forms, methods and rights of members in new-style cooperative models.

Thereby, it aims to widely propagate the principles and values ​​of cooperatives, contributing to the development of collective economy in the new period; Introduce and replicate typical advanced cooperative models, effective production and business activities, good experiences, good initiatives in the organization and operation of cooperatives and the contributions of cooperatives in building new rural areas in the province.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee selected 29 winning works. Of which, for visual journalism, there was 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes; for written journalism, there was 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes; for stage drama, there was 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes; 1 consolation prize for spoken journalism.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded commemorative medals of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to 69 individuals with achievements for the cause of cooperative development.

On this occasion, 69 individuals were awarded commemorative medals by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for the cause of cooperative development; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in the period 2011 - 2016; the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in collective economic development in the period 2011 - 2016.
