Learn about award-winning new cooperative models

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 28 in Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the contest to learn about new cooperative models. The contest was launched in early 2016 and attracted many units, sectors and cooperatives in the province to participate. There were 12 works in the final round of visual and spoken press; 12 works in the written press; and 14/21 districts, cities and towns participated in the stage play and skit competition.

The press works and stage plays all adhere to the purpose, requirements and content of the contest. The works and plays are well-invested, rich in content, and highly artistic and propagandistic. The participating teams have closely followed the contest rules and regulations. 100% of the works and plays comply with the contest rules, and no works or plays violate the contest rules.

Leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Union and Nghe An Newspaper awarded prizes to the authors who won first, second and third prizes in the written newspaper category.

Through the works and practical contest entries, useful information is provided to help people better understand the meaning, importance, forms, methods and benefits of members in new cooperative models.

Thereby, it aims to widely propagate the principles and values ​​of cooperatives, contributing to the development of the collective economy in the new period; Introduce and replicate typical advanced cooperative models, effective production and business activities, good experiences, good initiatives in the organization and operation of cooperatives and the contributions of cooperatives in building new rural areas in the province.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee selected 29 winning works. Of which, for visual journalism, there was 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes; for written journalism, there was 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes; for stage drama, there was 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes; 1 consolation prize for spoken journalism.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded commemorative medals of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to 69 individuals with achievements for the cause of cooperative development.

On this occasion, 69 individuals were awarded commemorative medals by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for their contributions to cooperative development; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in the period 2011 - 2016; the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in collective economic development in the period 2011 - 2016.
