Authorities have found the last five bodies in the passenger boat accident on Thac Ba Lake (Lao Cai). Thus, nearly a day after the accident occurred, all six missing victims have been found.

According to information from the authorities in Lao Cai province, on the afternoon of February 22, search teams found four more missing victims in the passenger boat capsizing incident on Thac Ba Lake.

The bodies were discovered after hours of searching by divers inside the ship's hull and in the area surrounding the collision site between the vessel carrying 23 people and a stone-carrying ship. The search operation continued throughout the night with the participation of police, military, local rescue forces, and Navy Special Forces.

Specifically, the identities of the four newly found victims are: HTH (56 years old), HTT (60 years old), HTTT (14 years old), and TTH (48 years old).

On the morning of the same day, the search team found the body of H.D.M. (11 years old). All the victims found resided in Cam Nhan commune.

Later that evening, local authorities reported that the body of the last victim had been found by forces from the 126th Naval Special Forces Brigade. The victim was identified as HVT (42 years old).

Earlier, at approximately 7:15 PM on February 21st, in the Lang Can hamlet area of ​​Bao Ai commune, a passenger boat collided with a stone-carrying vessel, causing the passenger boat to sink. There were 23 people on board; 6 are missing, and 17 were rescued safely.

Local authorities stated that the passenger boat was owned by Mr. Tran Anh Tuan (47 years old, residing in Bao Ai commune); the boat was purchased but the transfer of ownership procedures had not yet been completed. The boat's driver was Mr. Trieu Van Noi (31 years old, residing in Cam Nhan commune). At the time of the incident, the boat was carrying 23 people (including the driver) traveling from Yen Binh commune to Cam Nhan commune.

The stone-carrying vessel was identified as belonging to Marble Vietnam Mineral Company (Luc Yen commune). The captain was Mr. Nguyen Van Tham (42 years old, residing in Cam Nhan commune). At the time of the collision, the vessel, carrying 515 tons of stone, was traveling from Luc Yen commune towards Yen Binh commune.
