Body of woman swept away by flood found in Anh Son
Authorities in Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district, said that authorities found the body of Ms. PTT, who was swept away by floodwaters on the afternoon of September 20, about 250 meters downstream from where she was swept away.
Previously, at 3:15 p.m. on September 20, in Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district, Ms. PTT (born in 1986) was carrying her two children, NPMH (5th grader) and NPDM (4th grader), at Hoa Son Primary School. When they reached Ong Han bridge in hamlet 4, Hoa Son commune, due to high water and strong currents, the mother and her three children were swept away.
As soon as the incident was discovered, people immediately shouted and jumped into the water to save the two children, but Ms. T and the electric motorbike were swept away by the water.

Faced with that situation, the Party Committee, the authorities of the commune, hamlet 4 and the people deployed search plans; at the same time, reported to the leaders of the district People's Committee. After receiving the news, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue of Anh Son district went directly to direct the local authorities and mobilized search forces.
At 7:30 p.m. the same day, Ms. T's body was found, about 250 meters downstream from the drowning site.
The authorities have completed the procedures to hand over Ms. T's body to her family and complete the burial procedures. The Party Committee, the government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Son commune coordinated with the government of Tuong Son commune to promptly visit and encourage the family to overcome the pain.
It is known that Ms. T got married in Thanh Chuong district and had 3 children. During this time, Ms. T brought her children back to her hometown to take care of her father who had lung cancer, and Ms. T's mother had just passed away. The family's situation was very difficult. Currently, benefactors are also calling for support for the family to overcome this loss.
